The Unparalleled Community Impact Awards (UCIA)

We're seeking nominations for the Affidian Credit Union Unparalleled Community Impact Award. 2026 marks the eighth year we've presented this award.

About the Award

The award honors first responders, the Guardians of Colorado, who consistently go above and beyond in service to both their department and the communities they serve.

While we're always moved by the everyday dedication shown by these Guardians, we especially appreciate hearing stories of exceptional service that reflect true leadership, compassion, and commitment to the community. It's our way of recognizing the meaningful impact made every day - often without recognition.

Recipient Recognition

Award recipients will be honored with a commemorative plaque and public recognition during a ceremony at their department, followed by a celebratory luncheon hosted by Affidian Credit Union. Winners will be announced in September, and ceremonies will be scheduled for the fall.

Nominating a Candidate

We welcome nominations for first responders: Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, Paramedics, Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Dispatchers, and support staff. To submit a nomination, please email Dan Guzman at dguzman@affidiancu.org.
